He stands in the heart of Shiokaze Park, the proposed venue to host the beach volleyball competitions in seven years time.
The logo was placed on the robot, in a ceremony led by Athens 2004 Olympic Games gold medallist gymnast, Naoya Tsukahara, and Miss Nippon 2009, Marino Miyata.It is part of the Green Tokyo Gundam Project, which will help raise funds for new greenery throughout the capital as part of the transformation the city.
